Our Community Values
The Innovators Guild is built on a foundation of collaboration, respect, and innovation. Our community thrives when all members adhere to these core values and guidelines. By joining our community, you agree to uphold these principles in all interactions.
1. Respect and Inclusivity

- Integrity: Be honest and transparent in your interactions within the community.
- Appropriate Content: Share content that is relevant, constructive, and appropriate for a professional setting.
- No Harassment: Any form of harassment, intimidation, or bullying is strictly prohibited.
- Professionalism: Maintain professional behavior in all community spaces, both online and in-person.
3. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
- Collaborative Spirit: Embrace opportunities to collaborate and support fellow community members.
- Knowledge Exchange: Share insights, expertise, and resources that benefit the community.
- Credit Attribution: Properly attribute ideas, content, and contributions to their original creators.
- Constructive Feedback: Provide feedback that is helpful, specific, and delivered with respect.
4. Confidentiality and Trust
- Respect Privacy: Do not share personal information about other members without their explicit consent.
- Confidential Information: Treat information shared within the community with appropriate confidentiality, especially when explicitly requested.
- Intellectual Property: Respect intellectual property rights and obtain permission before using others' work.
- Trust Building: Act in ways that build and maintain trust within the community.
5. Event and Discussion Participation
- Active Engagement: Participate actively and constructively in community discussions and events.
- Respectful Attendance: Honor commitments to attend events you've registered for, or provide timely notice if you cannot attend.
- Inclusive Discussions: Ensure discussions remain inclusive by avoiding jargon, explaining technical terms, and being mindful of different knowledge levels.
- Speaker Respect: Show respect to speakers and presenters by being attentive and engaging appropriately.
6. Digital Communication
- Thoughtful Communication: Be mindful of how your messages might be interpreted in digital formats where tone can be ambiguous.
- Appropriate Channels: Use the designated communication channels for their intended purposes.
- No Spam: Avoid excessive self-promotion, spam, or irrelevant content in community spaces.
- Responsible Sharing: Verify information before sharing it with the community to avoid spreading misinformation.
7. Compliance and Reporting
- Guidelines Adherence: Familiarize yourself with and follow these community guidelines.
- Reporting Violations: Report any violations of these guidelines to the community administrators.
- Constructive Resolution: Approach conflicts with a focus on constructive resolution rather than escalation.
- Acceptance of Moderation: Respect the decisions of community moderators and administrators.
8. Consequences of Violations
Violations of these community guidelines may result in actions taken by the Innovators Guild administrators, including but not limited to:
- Verbal or written warnings
- Temporary restriction from community activities or spaces
- Removal of content that violates guidelines
- Permanent removal from the community in cases of serious or repeated violations
9. Guideline Updates
These guidelines may be updated periodically to better serve our community. Members will be notified of significant changes, and continued participation in the community constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
